How to Set Up Your First SOMA Project in 10 Minutes

Step-by-step walkthrough from zero to your first generated content queue.

Step 1: Complete the Voice Profile Interview (5 Minutes)

Go to [socialmate.studio/soma/onboarding](https://socialmate.studio/soma/onboarding). Answer 5 questions about your tone, style, and example content.

Step 2: Create a Project (2 Minutes)

Go to SOMA → Projects → New Project.

Name it (e.g., "Main Content")

Select your connected platforms

Set your posting frequency and active days per platform

Choose a mode (start with Safe)

Step 3: Add Your Master Doc (2 Minutes)

Paste your notes, weekly update, or brain dump into the doc field. Or upload a PDF or text file.

Step 4: Ingest (30 Seconds)

Click "Ingest Doc." SOMA analyzes your content and identifies themes, wins, challenges, and content angles. This costs 25 credits.

Step 5: Generate (1–2 Minutes)

Click "Generate Week." SOMA generates a full week of posts. This costs 75 credits.

Step 6: Review

In Safe mode, go through the generated queue. Approve what's good, skip what isn't, edit anything that needs tweaking.
